The busy season for fall sports has officially come to an end.

Senior Sabrina Simpson, led the team with 11 assists, also adding 12 goals as well. Seniors Nicole Kidwiler's and Rachel Tregoning's speed gave a spark to the team's success on the field. Make sure to look out for juniors Jordan Pack and Caroline Via as they rise up to be a couple of the star players on the team next year.

Football had a historic season this year, finishing 7-3, and having the best record in program history since 2011. The team had some really big wins including beating Seneca Valley for the first time in program history and a 56-0 shutout win against Northwood. Senior running back Carleton Thomas led the team with 15 touchdowns. The team’s record has gotten better every year since Coach Anderson has been coach at Blake so watch out for bigger things next year.

If you thought that Varsity Football had a historic season, wait until you hear about JV’s. JV Football went 8-0 under first year head coach, Bryon Marshall. Sophomore Isaiah Smith led the team with 24 touchdowns.

The winning continued with the Girls Tennis Team. They finished with an overall record of 10-2 and were 5-0 in conference. The team had strong doubles pairs which helped them get their 5-0 record in conference play.

Girls Volleyball finished with a record of 7-9. Senior Kelsey Tomas, ran a 5-1 and averaged at least 15 assists per game. Senior Camryn McClain added five kills per set and sometimes 20 kills in a match which consists of three sets. Watch out next year for junior Kayla Tomas who averaged four to five kills per set and 20 digs per match.

Senior Evan Pollack and freshman Ella Jacobs represented cross country in states with both placing a speedy 18th place.

Finally, freshman golfer, Matthew Salter, had an excellent season on the green, making it to States, and on the MCPS All Division Team for golf.
